Lead the build. Protect the property. Stand behind the work.

You organize qualified exterior carpentry work from the approved job package and turn it into a clean finished result. A Project Coordinator handles site visits, proposals and customer decisions. You lead field execution, guide assigned help and keep the project team informed.

We are accepting applications for this role. Pay, schedule, equipment and start date are confirmed in the offer letter. Applying does not guarantee an offer.

What you will do

  • Lead assigned carpentry projects from the approved scope through quality checks and the final walkthrough. Work may include fences, decks, pergolas, patio covers and enclosure framing, within your demonstrated qualifications.
  • Read the job instructions before starting. Check field measurements, access, materials and the approved scope; report differences before building.
  • Plan the day, confirm material quantities and deliveries, and guide any help assigned to the job.
  • Build to the written specifications, protect the property and leave a safe, orderly site.
  • Send customer requests about price, scope or schedule to the Project Coordinator. Wait for required written approvals before performing changed work.
  • Confirm permit and inspection checkpoints with the project team before starting; provide the required field photos and access.
  • Record project time, daily progress, photos, materials and issues in JobTread. Complete quality checks, documented corrections and closeout records.
  • Pause affected work and notify the project team about unsafe conditions, severe weather or unresolved scope concerns. Secure the area when safe to do so.
  • Use assigned time between builds for paid preparation, training and tool care. Pass new project inquiries to our team.

What we are looking for

  • Proven practical carpentry experience. Tell us what you personally built or led. Experience with fences, decks, pergolas, patio covers or enclosure framing is especially useful.
  • Comfort reading a written scope, taking measurements and organizing work to a plan.
  • Dependable scheduling, honest follow through, coachability and respect for customers and coworkers.
  • Pride in clean workmanship and early communication when something is unclear or changes.
  • Your own basic hand tools and work boots.
  • Willingness to use JobTread for project records. JobTread experience is helpful, not required; we provide system training. Building experience is expected.

Requirements

  • 18 or older, with a valid driver's license and a driving record our insurance accepts. You drive the company truck and trailer.
  • Able to lift and carry 50 lb repeatedly, and to stand, bend, kneel, dig and climb ladders through a full workday, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to work outdoors in Gulf Coast heat, sun and humidity.
  • Able to run power tools safely and wear the protective gear each job calls for.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

What you can expect from us

  • An approved scope, materials list and released job instructions before work starts.
  • Paid training on our systems, standards and project handoffs.
  • The work truck, trailer, power tools and safety gear, marked as ours and kept in the trailer.
  • Materials and hardware suited to the approved project and coastal conditions.
  • A clear handoff from the Project Coordinator, with responsibilities and equipment terms agreed in writing.
